Two companies have submitted bids for the lease of Deepwater in the Port of Gdansk

Port Gdansk - Deepwater

The tender for lease of so called ‘Deepwater’ (a new investment area of 27 hectares in the deepwater part of the Port of Gdansk) was submitted by two companies – Port of Gdansk Authority S.A. announced on Twitter. They are CM Partner A/S based in Copenhagen and DCT Gdansk. Now the commission verifies the documents.

Let us remind that at the end of October last year, the Port of Gdansk Authority SA announced a tender for the long-term lease of a developed land property with a total area of over 27 ha.

The area is located directly by the Ore Pier in the Northern Port. It can be used for the construction of a terminal, which would generate significant amounts of reloading. What kind of terminal? The market will decide.

The property has enormous potential. Its unique location on a European scale, in the deep water part of the Port of Gdansk, combined with the investments, both land- and water-side, carried out by ZMPG S.A., PKP PLK and the Maritime Office in Gdynia, guarantee success for the business located there.

The area is covered by a valid building permit, which includes railroad tracks, parking lot, roads and hydro-technical infrastructure for ship mooring. According to the local zoning plan, the property is intended for production and service development.
