Seatech Engineering under Polish ownership
On 6th of March 2018, at the Polish Embassy in Paris, the contract was signed, changing the ownership structure of Seatech Engineering. A management buy-out operation has been agreed, with 80% of shares held by the French shipbuilding group Piriou transferred to Polish hands. The contract became final (went in force) on April 9, 2018.
The shares held by the French party have been bought out by the current management of the Seatech Engineering ship design and consultancy company. The current share structure is as follows: Adam Ślipy – 70%, Gerard Jasiński – 20%, Mariusz Czajkowski – 10%.
As main business has been based on customers outside the Piriou group for many years, ownership changes will not affect current contracts for Polish and foreign customers.
However, Piriou remains a key business partner and in the near future both companies plan to implement several joint projects and further cooperation in the construction of ships in Polish shipyards.

Locations of offices in Gdańsk and Szczecin will remain unchanged for now, although given the expected long-term development of the projects undertaken and the needs of staff growth, moving the company offices to new premises, corresponding to the development needs, will be considered.
Seatech Engineering remains as the exclusive distributor for Poland of Dassault Systemes software for the Marine & Offshore industry.
