PKN Orlen submits three applications for offshore wind farm sites

PKN Orlen has submitted three applications for location permits for offshore wind farms, PKN Orlen’s energy executive Jarosław Dybowski said.

We want to build 1,200 MW in the Baltic Sea together with our Canadian partner, the commissioning is planned for 2026. However, Orlen has very big aspirations. We will submit further applications. Two days ago we submitted two applications for two new locations, and before that one application. When sites become available, we submit applications and we hope that Orlen will become a major player in offshore wind energy – said Jarosław Dybowski during the PowerPol National Power and Heat Congress.
