PGZ Naval Shipyard’s order from the repair sector from the German market

PGZ Stocznia Wojenna Sp. z o.o. has acquired an order for a special survey as well as repair and maintenance work of a special ship from the German market. It concerns the fisheries protection patrol vessel (FPV) Seefalke.

As Jan Siemiński, the chief specialist for marketing and PR at PGZ Naval Shipyard, informed us – the expected deadline for the order is 45 days (until 5 October 2021).

The scope of the order is essentially the class renewal – standard work, inspection of main and auxiliary equipment, propulsion system review and maintenance work.

Upon arrival on 23 August this year to the Gdynia based shipyard, the ship was initially moored at the Gościnny quay. She is expected to enter a floating dock or to be lifted up on the yard’s synchrolift.

The ordering party is the German agriculture and food authority – Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung (BLE) based in Bonn.
