New record at DCT Gdansk

During the recent visit of OOCL Hong Kong (21,413 TEU), DCT Gdansk terminal set a new record in the number of containers handled during a single ship call.

With 20,207 TEUs, the Gdansk terminal beat the previous record from 2019, when 20,081 TEUs were handled on the MSC Mina. The main photo shows the aforementioned vessel berthing along quay T2, as well as all eight STS cranes that were used during this record-breaking operation.

As DCT Gdansk informs, typically the number of containers handled on an ocean-going vessel calling at DCT Gdansk is around 16-17 thousand TEU.
